Tell us about your family: Together with my wonderful husband, Charley, we have our son Nino (2 years old) and our dog Vinny (10 years old)
Current/Previous career: I am a professional opera singer and I also own my own voice lessons company: Finely Tuned Voice Lessons!
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? If you can believe it, I wanted to be an OB/GYN!
What is the furthest you have been away from home? Europe (Italy, Austria, France, Switzerland)
What is your favorite thing to do? I love being outside with my family! Hiking, picnics, finding the best restaurants/breweries, etc.
What is something about you that someone may not know? My right thumb doesn't bend! I was just born that way, I think they call it trigger thumb? I'll be happy to show you sometime, people think it looks like plastic since I don't have the bendy joint wrinkles! lol
What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? Oooh, I am always on the hunt for places to eat! My best meal was a steak from Steak & Bourbon!
What is the best thing about living in Louisville? There's really something for everyone from music/concerts, to outdoor activities and the parks are wonderful!

Tell us about your family: We are a family of three. My husband (Jesus) and I met in High School and started dating shortly after graduation. In 2018 we decided to leave our hometown and move to Indiana where we both started working for USDA. In 2021 we transferred to Louisville and planted our roots here. In December, 2022 we received our baby boy Luke! Our lives changed forever and we couldn’t be happier. We love spending quality time together, going out to eat, meeting with friends, and visiting our family in Florida.
Current/Previous career: I am currently a stay at home mom. Used to be a Consumer Safety Inspector for USDA.

What is something about you that someone may not know? My husband and I got married in Las Vegas
What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? La Bodeguita de Mima, vaca frita with sweet plantains and Moro, and a mojito to drink!
What is the best thing about living in Louisville? The community, always feeling welcomed.

Hometown: I never know how to answer this! I moved around a bit growing up, but spent most of my young life in NE Ohio. Louisville is the first place I chose to live and the place that feels most like home.
How long have you lived in Louisville?: I lived in Louisville for 10 years before relocating to Knoxville, TN, for work.
Tell us about your family: My husband, Jonathan, and I have been together for 12 years. We have a son, Benedict (5), and a daughter, Vera (2). We also have 2 cats, but I don’t claim them as mine since they were part of the deal when I started dating my husband.
Current/Previous career: I am the Director of Advising for the College of Music at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? A lot of things! Most consistently was that I wanted to be a baker and own my own bakery called Yummy Tummy Treats and it was going to be attached to my house. The funny thing is, I don’t really bake!
What is the furthest you have been away from home? I spent time in Italy while I was studying abroad during college. One of the top experiences of my life!
What is your favorite thing to do? Laugh, like that way-down-deep-comes-from-your-soul laugh. Nothing beats it.

Tell us about your family: I live with my husband, Brent. We have married for 15 years and together for 23 years and we have an almost ten year old, Finley who will be in 4th grade this school year!
Current/Previous career: I am a lactation consultant and registered dieitian. I am also a trained birth doula. I own a private practice lactation and nutrition consulting business called, Bonnie Knows Breast! I get to love on and support new families each day in my job and it is so rewarding and fulfilling.
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? I wanted to be a chef! One day I WILL go to culinary school!
What is the furthest you have been away from home? Italy!
What is your favorite thing to do? I love being at home with my family, cooking in the kitchen and playing board games together.
What is something about you that someone may not know? I love going to the grocery! It is my happy place!
What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? I am a foodie so this is a hard question to answer! I tend to over order because I like trying all the things! I love things with big bold flavor!

How long have you lived in Louisville? I lived in Louisville for all my life until my 30th year when we moved out to Crestwood.
Tell us about your family: I've been married for almost 9 years (May 17th) to my husband Josh. We have two boys, Beau 6 and William 3.
Current/Previous career: I am a former special education teacher. Then stayed at home for 6 years and now I am back to teaching, but at the Pre-Kindergarten level and I LOVE it so so much.
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? First, I wanted to be a Naval Aviator. Then, I wanted to be a neurosurgeon, but switched passions when I nannied for a young boy who was diagnosed with autism. He was the sweetest child and I enjoyed getting to spend time with him.
What is the furthest you have been away from home? When I was 6 we traveled to Hong Kong.
What is your favorite thing to do? I LOVE to camp! We are glampers (aka have a travel trailer camper) and it’s a fun family time. In the summer you can catch us at the lake with our family!
What is something about you that someone may not know? My husband and I met at what we refer to as a Speed School keg party. My sorority sister introduced us. 😊

Tell us about your family: I've been married to Grant for 9 years. My daughter Violet is 8 years old, my son Max is 6 years old, and we have 2 mini Bernadoodles.
Current/Previous career: I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. After college I worked at a school in Lexington, then decided to move back home. I started to work for preschool enrichment program and within a year I bought a small business and ran that for 12 years. After after Covid, I decided to stay home and work part time because life was crazy with school quarantines and all. This year I finally went back to teaching full time, something I haven’t done since I’ve had kids.

Tell us about your family: I've been married to Rick for 11 years and we have been together for 18 years. We have a blended family he has 2 sons (25,22). I have a son Carter 21, and a daughter Ella, 19. My son Carter is in the Navy and is currently stationed in California.
Current/Previous career: I ran my own in home child care for 11 years and now my husband and I are business owners.
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? I really wanted to go to culinary school and become a chef.

How long have you lived in Louisville? Literally my whole life, outside of when I went to college at the University of Kentucky.
Tell us about your family: I’ve been married to my husband, Zach, for almost 13 years and we have two kiddos - Calvin (10) and Ruby (7). We also have a Jack Russell named Cosmo.
Current/Previous career: Previously I was a middle and high school science teacher for 15 years. For the last two years, I’ve been a manager with Fit4Mom Louisville and handle their communications, emails, social media, graphics, scheduling, event planning, partnerships, the list goes on…lol. I also instruct BOOST, Body Well, and Body Ignite!
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? A marine biologist or a veterinarian.
What is the furthest you have been away from home? I’ve been to Italy and Hawaii, which is probably about equi-distant give or take a few miles.
What is your favorite thing to do? I love to cook, read murder mysteries, watch reality TV, and spend time with my family (my parents live nearby and are often over at my house, and I have three sisters).
What is something about you that someone may not know? My last name is pronounced “cool,” but don’t worry, I’m not actually “cool.”

Tell us about your family: On the 29th, Josh and I will be celebrating 11 years married. We met through a mutual friend at a college party 18 years ago 😂. We have Izzie who is 8 and Rex who is 5.
Current/Previous career: I graduated from UofL in 2012 with my Doctorate in Audiology and have never strayed! I love being able to help patient connect with loved ones again through better hearing
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? When I was really little, all I wanted to be was a cheerleader. I cheered through middle and most of high school and think I make a pretty good cheerleader in other ways these days! Then, naturally, I wanted to be a marine biologist like any other 80s kid.

Tell us about your family: I have 2 kiddos. Adeline is 8 and loves to dance. Lochlan is 5 and full of energy. My husband is Nathan. We've been married for 12 years.
Current/Previous career: I'm a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in Oldham County.
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? I've always wanted to be a teacher of the deaf! My grandparents are deaf and I come from a long line of teachers of the deaf. It's in the blood. Haha
What is the furthest you have been away from home? Italy! I've had the opportunity to travel there a few times and love it.
What is your favorite thing to do? Get outside and go on an adventure! I love hiking and camping with the fam. It feeds my soul.

Tell us about your family: My husband Chris is the Associate Athletic Director for St. X. We love going to concerts together and just celebrated our sixth anniversary. Our son Wesley turns 6 in August and loves to play guitar and draw ocean animals. Fritz turns 4 in June. He loves to make us laugh, always finds a way to play football and he has a tendency for head injuries.

Tell us about your family: My husband, Dave, is from Louisville. We've been together for 12 years, and married since 2015. We have 2 kiddos- Anna is 5 and so excited to go to kindergarten in the fall, and Noah is 3 and just living his best life every day. We also have 2 rescue dogs, Crosby and Baxter, both pitbull mixes, that are 13 and 7.
Current/Previous career: Labor and delivery nurse- truly the most rewarding job ever, even on the hard days.
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? A dancer.
What is the furthest you have been away from home? I went to France for 2 weeks with my French class in high school.

Tell us about your family: I’ve been married to my husband, Evan, 12 years. We have three littles, Elliott (7), Claire (4), Graham (8 months), and one pup child, Bella-basset hound mix (9).
Current/Previous career: I taught kindergarten for 9 years before staying home with my kids.
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? I wanted to be a dentist for the longest time. It wasn’t the right path for me, but I did end up marrying someone that became one and then an orthodontist 🤣😉
What is the furthest you have been away from home?I’ve traveled to Europe a few times with my family and Evan’s.
What is your favorite thing to do? I love to run with friends and go on walks/hikes with my family.
