Elizabeth Steinert
Instructor
Elizabeth loves showing women that they are stronger than they think they are — and helping moms build the confidence to do hard things, inside and outside of class. She’s passionate about helping women reach new goals, grow their strength, and deepen self-confidence and self-love through movement. Elizabeth especially loves the energy of group fitness: every mom walks in with a different season, different stress, different ability… but everyone walks out feeling better, stronger, and more supported. That community transformation is what makes FIT4MOM so special to her.
A Louisville native, Elizabeth found FIT4MOM Louisville in 2015 through a Google search while looking for a way to work out with her baby and connect with other women. She jumped into Stroller Strides and quickly fell in love — not only with the workouts, but with the friendships, the laughter, and the joy of watching babies grow up alongside one another. In 2017, she began teaching Body Well and Boost, with a clear purpose: to pour back into the community that had given her so much.
Outside of FIT4MOM, Elizabeth is a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing in Oldham County — a calling that runs in her family. Growing up in a Deaf family, she is bilingual, with American Sign Language as her second language. She’s been married to her husband Nathan for 12+ years, and together they’re raising two amazing kiddos: Adeline, who loves to dance, and Lochlan, who is full of energy and adventure.
When she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find Elizabeth outside hiking or camping with her family (it feeds her soul!) — and she and Nathan are even working toward a big dream of backpacking the entire Appalachian Trail. She’s known for being kind, welcoming, and the kind of instructor who makes everyone feel like they belong.
In class, expect warmth, real encouragement, and a coach who will challenge you with love — and remind you that the hardest part is simply showing up. Her favorite strength builders? Plank-based moves — because they take just as much mental strength as physical strength.
