This month's team member can best be described as positive and has the most beautiful and encouraging smile. While she's relatively new to the team, she and her caring attitude have been a long-standing part of our Village and for that we are so thankful!
How long have you lived in Louisville? Almost 15 years, I moved here in 2008

We also have 2 rescue dogs, Crosby and Baxter, both pitbull mixes, that are 13 and 7.

What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? Comeback Inn! What is your go to order? Linguini with red clam sauce and they have the best bellinis!
What is the best thing about living in Louisville? There are so many kid friendly things to do, and I love all of the local breweries

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: I hated running until I was in my 30s.
If someone had to describe you in one word, what would it be and why? Passionate. My family and friends, my job, this village- I care so deeply about the people in my life, the people I take care of at work, my goals. I give everything I have into everything I do and love hard. There is nothing I wouldn't do for my people. ❤
How did you find FIT4MOM Louisville? Brittany Littles told me how amazing it was when I was pregnant with my daughter. I went to a Fit4Baby preview class and was hooked!
How long have you worked for FIT4MOM Louisville? Just started in November.
How has FIT4MOM Louisville changed your life? I was the first of my close friends to have a baby, and while they were always there to help, none of them understood how hard and isolating the first weeks of postpartum are. I went to my first Stroller Strides class when Anna was 8 weeks old- I was a hot mess of exhaustion and emotions- and immediately felt supported. Women I had just met offered to push the stroller when Anna cried so I could have a few minutes to myself to work out and Amanda held my baby for an entire class once because she had hardly slept all night and I was barely functioning. It is so rare to find a group of women that are so accepting and non-judgmental, that immediately ask how they can help, and don't hesitate to reach out. I've met some of my closest friends because of Fit4Mom and so have my kids.
What was the first class that you attended and/or taught? First class I attended was Stroller Strides, and Strides is also the first class I taught.
What was the last class that you attended and/or taught? Last class I attended was Run Club last night, and the last class I taught was Stroller Strides at Oxmoor.
What classes do you currently attend and/or teach? I try to go to all of the different classes, and I teach Stroller Strides and Body Well.
What is your favorite workout move or class layout? Fave workout move is burpees! And I love tabata and traveling classes- give me alllll the cardio!
What workout move or class layout makes you feel strong? Squat to overhead press. It's the move I love to hate and always makes me sore!
Best location for Spring Break? The last Spring Break trip I went on was to Daytona Beach in college 😂.
April Fool’s Day - what is the best prank you’ve either played or had played on you? I only remember one prank I played with some friends in high school. It involved those wooden deer that people always had in their yards in the 90s, and compromising positions. 😆
Favorite spring flower? Tulips because they come in so many pretty colors 🌷🌷
F4M class that you’re looking forward to being outside? All of them! But probably Stroller Strides- the kids love being outside and it's so nice to be able to let them play on the playground after class and have some time to catch up and chat with mama friends.
