How long have you lived in Louisville? I moved to Chicago right out of PT school and Lived there fore 6 years before returning home to Louisville in 2021
Tell us about your family: My husband Isiah and I met in Chicago, he is from Wisconsin. We got married in 2021 and I convinced him to move back to my hometown. We had our beautiful and spunky daughter Mila in October of 2022
Current/Previous career: I am a pediatric physical therapist and specialize in infants and littles with profound motor disorders
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? I wanted to be a pediatrician
What is the furthest you have been away from home? I have traveled to Israel twice
What is your favorite thing to do? I love a good patio day (yay for patio weather!) with my family and friends
What is something about you that someone may not know? I am exceptionally good at making animal noises
What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? Simply Thai has been a favorite as of recently and I love to get the Pad Kee Mao with tofu.
What is the best thing about living in Louisville? The weather and being back home close to my parents, grandparents and my sisters
What is your favorite color? I’m a pink girly
What is your favorite song or artist? Taylor Swift, forever and always
What TV shows are you currently watching? The Eras tour on repeat and I love a good trashy competition reality show (along the lines of the Challenge, the Traitors, etc..)
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or what is your pet peeve? I am horribly allergic to dogs but I love them and will gladly sacrifice some hives for puppy snuggles
If someone had to describe you in one word, what would it be and why? Compassionate – I am always regarding other’s needs and feelings first, almost to a fault.
How did you find FIT4MOM Louisville? My friend Brittany Wenig told me about it last summer
How has FIT4MOM Louisville changed your life? Becoming a mom can feel so isolating. Most of my mom friends are back in Chicago and I didn’t have a local support system outside of my family. I’m tearing up as I write this because finding a group of such amazing women that “just get it” has been so profound. I know I’ve met women that will be friends for life and who love my daughter like their own.
What was the first class that you attended? What was the last class that you attended? My first class was Elizabeth’s BOOST and it kicked my butt in the best way possible. My most recent class was last night’s Strides with Jenn
What is your favorite workout move or class layout? What workout move or class layout makes you feel strong? I love the sense of community I feel with stroller strides but also love Ashley’s body ignite classes they’re so “fun” (When Ashley says fun it translates to: HARD).
· Best location for Spring Break? Anywhere with a beach and temps warmer than 75 degrees
· April Fool’s Day - what is the best prank you’ve either played or had played on you? I truly can’t think of one that I’ve personally done, but I love to hear about other’s pranks. I remember a few years ago a former Bachelorette convinced her fiancée that he posted an explicit picture on social media and thought that was hilarious.
