How long have you lived in Louisville? Since 2010

Tell us about your family: My husband is a CPA for Forvis Mazars who loves to give back to the community by leading a young professionals group for Habitat for Humanity! Together we have a very fun and full of personality 21 month old little boy named Callen who loves keeping us on our toes. :)

Current/Previous career: I currently do Marketing, Recruiting and Event Planning for Monroe Shine, a local Accounting firm - not the same Accounting firm as my husband's lol.

What did you want to be “when you grow up”? I really wanted to be a nurse when I grew up and then college chemistry quickly changed my mind for me.....and now i can't stand the sight of blood so i would have made a terrible nurse.

What is the furthest you have been away from home? When we went to Punta Cana for our Honeymoon

What is your favorite thing to do? Spend time with my family, find fun new things to do with my son and in my free time watch trashy reality tv!

What is something about you that someone may not know? I make a pretty fabulous homemade pizza

What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? Shiraz! They have a great greek salad and their steak kabobs are soo good!

What is the best thing about living in Louisville? All the fun new restaurants and places to hang that keep popping up! If you haven't been to The Last Refuge in Nulu for a fun date night, I highly recommend it.

What is your favorite color? Teal

What is your favorite song or artist? I am a big Justin Bieber fan, you're allowed to judge me lol. He's just so catchy!

What TV shows are you currently watching? Aside from the Olympics, Selling OC, and just finished some of the greats: Vanderpump Rules, Too Hot to Handle, Love is Blind, Perfect Match, etc.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or what is your pet peeve? When the dishwasher is either empty or has dirty dishes in it and people leave their dirty dishes on the counter or in the sink..............especially when the dishwasher is right next to the sink......... ;)

If someone had to describe you in one word, what would it be and why? Oh gosh, just one word. That is hard! I guess it would probably be "social." I love staying connected with everyone at work, as well as with my friends and family. I’m always checking in to see how their day is going, what they’ve been up to, or just catching up on life in general. I’m that person who doesn’t actually start working until about an hour into the day because I’m busy chatting and catching up with everyone. I genuinely enjoy building these connections and being a part of people’s lives.

How did you find FIT4MOM Louisville? My good friend Liz Mac Bean first introduced me to Stroller Strides and then I moved into Owl Creek where the lovely Meredith Cull kept advertising Body Well through the neighborhood facebook page.

How has FIT4MOM Louisville changed your life? Ever since my son was born, I’ve been searching for a way to get active again. I used to go to Burn Bootcamp, which was perfect before he was born, but afterward, it became tough to fit the evening classes into my schedule. They either clashed with work or my son’s bedtime. When I discovered Mere's awesome classes at FIT4MOM Louisville, I was immediately hooked! The classes start at 7, and they even offer virtual options, which has been a game-changer for me. This schedule lets me spend quality time with my son after work and be there to put him to bed, while still allowing me to squeeze in a workout when my husband works late during busy season. I've truly appreciated the chance to get active again and connect with a group of amazing women, even if it’s just virtually. FIT4MOM has given me a wonderful community and a way to prioritize both my health and my family, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience!

What was the first class that you attended? What was the last class that you attended? The Spring 2024 Body Well class! I am attending tonight's (7/29/24) killer Cardio Express!

What is your favorite workout move or class layout? What workout move or class layout makes you feel strong? I LOVE when Mere makes those game board workouts! They are so fun and it is so fun to see my strength progression over time since I have started FIT4MOM classes!
