Meet July's Member of the Month - Kyle! You won't believe what she just retired from (hint: she used all four wheels) and recommends a great summer roll for these hot days. Hometown: Louisville, Kentucky
How long have you lived in Louisville? 37 years (I was born near Seoul, Korea and was adopted. We first lived in NYC for a few years before moving to Louisville).
Tell us about your family: I have an amazing husband and two awesome kids (Ayden - 10, she’s a competitive swimmer and my son, Harbin - 8, who loves playing baseball - go Germantown!).
Current/Previous career: I’ve worked for the Louisville Metro Government since 2005. I currently am the Communications & PR Manager for the Majority Caucus. Before that I served as a Legislative Assistant for the 9th District for 14 years.
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? I wanted to big a lawyer and the first female president.
What is the furthest you have been away from home? Seoul, Korea.
What is your favorite thing to do? Love watching kids sports and doing fun things with the family.
What is something about you that someone may not know? I just retired from playing roller derby with Louisville Roller Derby. I played for 7 years.
What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? Ooh, that’s a hard one. We love going out to eat, but right now it’s probably District 6. Love the summer rolls with pork and shrimp.
What is the best thing about living in Louisville? I love that it’s a great place to raise a family and great place to come home to after traveling.
What is your favorite color? You’ll always see me in something black, but I love bright colors.
What is your favorite song or artist? Love me some old school R&B or Rap.
What TV shows are you currently watching? I love binge watching shows, when I can find time. Just finished Ted Lasso (heart)!
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or what is your pet peeve? Pet peeve is bad drivers and folks that run red lights.

How did you find FIT4MOM Louisville? Through a fellow swim mom and best BOOST coach, Natalie Robertson.
How has FIT4MOM Louisville changed your life? I love meeting strong new women in Louisville, who help motivate me to wake up at the crack of dawn.
What was the first class that you attended? What was the last class that you attended? I first started with punch classes and went to Friday boost with Natalie. I attended Monday’s boost with Natalie.
What is your favorite workout move or class layout? Love the cardio (even thought I complain about it).
What workout move or class layout makes you feel strong? Strength training!
