How long have you lived in Louisville? 10 years.
Tell us about your family: My family is my husband of 13 years, Guru, our 3 daughters Mira (10), Nori (8), and Simi (4), and our 3 year old cavapoo, Max.
Current/Previous career: I was a teacher for 6 years before kiddos. I’m the owner of KK’s and thanks to Fit4mom I’ve been busy baking cookies over the last 7 years! I’m still baking, while also getting back to teaching this year!
What did you want to be “when you grow up”? A vet.
What is the furthest you have been away from home? Australia.
What is your favorite thing to do? Read and go to concerts.
What is something about you that someone may not know? I student taught overseas during my undergrad.
What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? Ooh thats a tough one, but Gustavo’s is a family fave for sure. The fajita tacos there are the best! With a Don Julio margarita of course.
What is the best thing about living in Louisville? It feels like a small town and has its own unique culture with bourbon and horses.
What is your favorite color? Green.
What is your favorite song or artist? I love Pink and Mt. Joy.
What TV shows are you currently watching? Obsessed with Shrinking and Schitts Creek is on a regular rotation.
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or what is your pet peeve? My pet peeve has to be when someone steps on the back of my shoes, especially in flip flops 😑
If someone had to describe you in one word, what would it be and why? My immediate response was social butterfly with this emoji 🥴, but then figured sarcastic would be more appropriate!
How did you find FIT4MOM Louisville? I’m a F4M OG! I joined right after we moved here in 2015 and regularly went to stroller strides with my oldest! My middle was a strides kiddo too and then ya know, covid and a third kid! So now I’m all virtual and loving it!
How has FIT4MOM Louisville changed your life? It helped me build great friendships, which isn’t easy as a mom! It has helped keep my fitness on track in various ways over the years. I love meeting new moms in the same phase of life who just want to uplift each other and cheer each other on!
What was the first class that you attended? A rainy strides class at the parklands in the fall of 2015 with 2 other moms!
What was the last class that you attended? Strength boost at 5:30 this morning in my basement with Jenn!
What is your favorite workout move or class layout? What workout move or class layout makes you feel strong? I love all strength classes and Body Ignite is a favorite format for sure.

- Super Bowl - watch it for the game or for the commercials? I’m usually reading a book during the game and just there for commercials and half time show.
- Best appetizer recipe for game day? Buffalo chicken dip.
- Will the groundhog see his shadow? And who is better at predicting the weather - a furry animal or the meteorologists? I never remember if we want him to see a shadow or not, but intrust furry animal about as much as I do a true forecast 😂
