How long have you lived in Louisville?

I am a Louisville native, Cardinal born and raised.

Tell us about your family:

I am married to Eric, and we have three children, Luke, Elizabeth and Matthew and a dog Newman.

Current/Previous career:

I am a stay at home mom but hope to return to teaching high school math in the future.

What did you want to be “when you grow up”?

I wanted to be many things when I grew up, a doctor, a garbage woman, a fighter pilot, a Disney animator just to name a few!

What is the furthest you have been away from home?

I was lucky enough to go to Greece with my father in high school. It was an amazing experience!

What is your favorite thing to do?

Watching TV with my husband after the kids go to bed. It’s the little things in life :)

What is something about you that someone may not know?

I really love sudoku. I find puzzles to be relaxing!

What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order?

It is very hard to pick a favorite but I would have to say Jack Fry’s and I try something new every time we get to go!

What is the best thing about living in Louisville?

The best thing about living in Louisville is being close to our loved ones, getting to share things that I loved and to experience new things around town with my children.

What is your favorite color?

Green. I LOVE green!

What is your favorite song or artist?

According to Apple Music my three most played songs are Thunderstruck (AC/DC), Turn Down For What (DJ snake and Lil Jon) and the Choral Finale of Beethovens 9th Symphony. I have a very eclectic taste in music!

What TV shows are you currently watching?

Will Trent, Abbott Elementary, Severance, The Pitt, and White Lotus. I really like TV!

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or what is your pet peeve?

I don’t know if this is surprising or a pet peeve but the first thing that comes to mind is: I don’t like celery. The smell, the taste, I think it’s gross.

If someone had to describe you in one word, what would it be and why?

I hope they would say that I am thoughtful :)

How did you find FIT4MOM Louisville?

I had known about F4M for quite some time, but started going to Stroller Strides when I was pregnant with my third baby, after talking with Meredith Cull about having a hard time fitting in exercise and mom-ing!

How has FIT4MOM Louisville changed your life?

I have made so many wonderful friends and have found such a supportive community with these mom. These women inspire me and help me be a better mom.

What was the first class that you attended? What was the last class that you attended? Strides and Strides :)

What is your favorite workout move or class layout? What workout move or class layout makes you feel strong?

Squats and Deadlifts alway empower me!

  • If you had to decorate a Mardi Gras float, what would be your theme? Derby
  • Favorite good luck charm? I don’t have a good luck charm but I am superstitious ;)
  • King cake or green beer? King Cake but I love St. Patricks day!
  • March 20th is spring (And my anniversary)- what is your favorite season and why? My favorite season, is not this winter. 😜
