Lee Daley

This month's featured member was famously named before she got married, and is still famous in our Village for her beautiful smile and welcoming attitude. While you won't find her at the beach (she prefers the pool), you'll also find her at Strides, Body Well, and Simply Thai (IYKYK). Meet Lee Daley, aka. Owen Wilson.

Hometown: Somerset, Kentucky.

How long have you lived in Louisville? 11 years.

Tell us about your family: My husband Andrew and I met in law school and have been married for seven years. We have an almost four year old little boy named Joe (he'll be 4 this month!) and a 20 month old little girl named Blair.

Current/Previous career: Business and Commercial Real Estate Attorney

What did you want to be “when you grow up”? Professional Cheerleader lolol

What is the furthest you have been away from home? Germany.

What is your favorite thing to do? Spend time outside with my family, whether its our backyard or a long hike, just get me outside in the sun!

What is something about you that someone may not know? Before I got married and changed my name, my name was Owen Wilson.

What is your favorite local restaurant to eat at? What is your go to order? Simply Thai - pad thai, or Eggs Benedict from anywhere (Wild Eggs has a great one!)

What is the best thing about living in Louisville? so many options for parks!

What is your favorite color? Pink!

What is your favorite song or artist? Brad Paisley

What TV shows are you currently watching? Shrinking (on AppleTV), and constantly rewatching New Girl and Friends

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us or what is your pet peeve? I love ice cream, but I hate vanilla

If someone had to describe you in one word, what would it be and why? driven

How did you find FIT4MOM Louisville? my cousin suggested we sign up for a body back session when we were both around 3 months pp.

How has FIT4MOM Louisville changed your life? I have been able to meet so many new friends in Louisville, and so have my kids now with stroller strides. I also love having so many options to work out option to keep me in better shape on a regular basis.

What was the first class that you attended? What was the last class that you attended? First - BodyBack at Holiday Manor Jazzercise, Fall 2019; Most Recent - Strides at Tom Sawyer.

What is your favorite workout move or class layout? What workout move or class layout makes you feel strong? I love a good traveling class and I hate to love a good box jump at the Parklands.

  • Tastiest summer treat? a good, cold rosé

  • Pool or beach? Why? Pool - less sand!

  • What was your favorite summer memory from childhood? going to the lake as much as possible (Lake Cumberland)

  • What are you looking forward to doing this summer? spending time outside with my family - so happy to have longer days in the summer!
