Meet Leslie McNulty, our Mom of the Month! Leslie is wife to Aaron and mama to 3 sweet littles: Alice (5), Thomas (3) and William (1). Leslie is a longtime member of our village and has been through all of our programs. She is currently killing it in Body Back and Run Club and is also a Strides and BOOST regular!
When she’s not busy with her kiddos or working out, she works part time in fundraising for our parks. Leslie has run SIX mini marathons and is currently training for the Urban Bourbon- so inspiring!
Leslie, you are so motivating and sweet! We are so happy to have you as a part of Our Village!!
Hometown: I was born in Oklahoma City, but I’ve lived in Louisville long enough to claim it as my hometown.
Tell us about your family: I’ve been married to Aaron for 10 years, and we have three kiddos; Alice 5, Thomas 3 and little William just turned 1!
Current/previous career: I work part time fundraising for our amazing public parks.
What does motherhood mean to you? It’s a hard job, but it’s also the best job! I stay home with my kids most days and life is crazy, messy and LOUD, but I’m happy to get to be with them!
What is the furthest you have been away from home? Europe
How did you find FIT4MOM? I saw a friend post her Body Back results on Facebook, which were amazing! But when I heard she was doing a workout at the zoo I was very interested! I loved the zoo class and started doing Strides with my two littles! It’s nice being able to get in a good workout while with your kids!
How has FIT4MOM changed your life? I did 2 rounds of Fit4Baby during my third pregnancy and loved the workouts and being part of that group with other pregnant mamas. It was definitely my healthiest pregnancy! And of course Body Back is life changing in so many ways!
Favorite exercise: anything that works biceps/triceps!
Proudest moment: After having my first baby! It wasn’t the birth experience I was hoping for, but once I held her for the first time I was one proud mama! It’s amazing what our bodies can do!
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: Hmmmm, I don’t have many surprises! I have been a vegetarian for almost 20 years!
