Mom of the Month - Lauren Rager

Meet one of our Moms of the Month, Lauren Rager! Lauren is wifey to Chris and Mom to Jackson (4). In addition to working full time as a Senior Loan Originator, Lauren is also one of our amazing BOOST instructors!

Lauren's F4MLou journey began with Body Well (formerly Body Back), then continued with a session of Run Club and has continued by becoming part of team F4MLou! Rager makes being a full time working mama, instructor, and all around bada** look easy. Especially through her amazing Instagram posts!

Lauren, we are lucky to have you as part of Our Village, for your positive motivation that pushes us to give everything we have during classes and that you are part of the team. xoxo

Hometown: My family is from Louisville and I moved here when I was 10; so I consider it home. I was born in Charlottesville, VA and lived in High Point NC until we moved here.

Tell us about your family. I have been married to my husband Chris for 7 years and we have one son, Jackson who is 4.

What is your current/previous career? I am a Senior Loan Originator at AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation and have been in the mortgage industry for over 14 years.

What was your childhood ambition? No joke, I wanted to be an 80’s aerobics instructor and a fashion designer.

What does motherhood mean to you? An unconditional indescribable love and a willingness to give everything you have and do anything for this tiny human.

What is the furthest you have been away from home? Amsterdam in my 20’s

How did you find FIT4MOM Lou? My sorority sister from University of Arizona called me to meet her friend that was moving to Louisville. And it was Jess Yared!

How has FIT4MOM changed your life? Fit4Mom has changed me mentally, physically, emotionally– more than words on this screen could ever describe. It has helped me to harvest strength and passion I never knew existed. It has given me a village I couldn’t live without. It has helped me create a healthy balance with life and motherhood, that I will forever be grateful for.

Favorite Exercise: Running

Proudest Moment: Giving birth and my first ½ marathon

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us: I hated running growing up (until Body Back and Run Club) and I would fake being sick when we had to run a mile in PE class.

What is your favorite virtual class? I would say mine, but that would just be weird right?! (Come see me Thursday’s @ 5:30 – lol)…for real, the OG Jess Yared’s class from San Diego OR Amanda Atherton’s Body Back classes (for life)!

Quick 5 with Jackson...

How old is mommy? 15 years

What is something mom always says to you? I love you

What is mom really good at? Running on the treadmill (can’t make this up)

What is mom's favorite thing to do? Play with her son

What makes you proud of your mom? You work very hard for us (heart melted)
