Burn Those Calories By Bouncing

Lots of mamas in Our Village are loving the benefits of getting in a trampoline workout (also known as rebounding). If you talk to our BOOST participants or many of our Body Back vets, they can vouch for the calorie blasting fun they've had at House of Boom Extreme Air Sports! How can you beat a workout that is such a blast?!

When it comes to exercise, fun is not typically the first word that comes to mind for many people. However, recent research shows that trampoline workouts may be the exception! The American Council on Exercise (ACE) released results from a study on rebounding indicating that it was "just as good for you as running, but feels better and is a lot more fun" (Burandt, Porcari, Cress, Doberstein, & Foster, 2016). According to their research, although rebounding is considered a moderate-to-vigorous intensity exercise, the study's participants rated it as only light-to-moderate in intensity.

So, if you're having trouble getting motivated to workout, try giving the trampolines at House of Boom a shot! You'll have a ball working up a sweat and the workout is bound to feel easier than it should. Win win!

You can still take advantage of their summer hours for open jump time. Check out House of Boom Extreme Air Sports....
